Mzansi Responds As White People In SA Ban Amapiano In New Netflix Documentary

Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Focalistic, and other Amapiano musicians have been called musical culprits in a new Netflix documentary. In the doccie, adults who are white shared their thoughts about the genre that has literally taken over the music wave in the country.

One of the women in the documentary revealed that despite banning the genre, the aforementioned artists have managed to influence the students.

“We have totally banned this piano thing from our school, but to be honest it didn’t help with slowing down the spread. And these musical culprits, Small Kabza, Mabarizo, and of course The Focalist. These are the ones who are influencing our kids like this….”

The Focalist trends on social media as people poke fun at the manner in which the woman murdered these musicians names.

The documentary tries to reveal how Amapiano is perceived as a demonic genre by a group of people who live in South Africa.
