Cardi B defends Will Smith amid gay s.e.x rumor

Cardi B has defended “unproblematic” Will Smith after an ex-employee claimed he witnessed the actor having sex with Duane Martin. Brother Bilaal spoke to infamous US gossip blogger Tasha K on her Unwine With Tasha K show, and described in detail an incident in which he alleged the Oscar winner was intimate with fellow actor Duane.

Will’s estranged wife Jada has denied the allegations, and threatened to take legal action, and now Cardi has waded into the ongoing drama.

In an Instagram Live, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker addressed the controversy surrounding Will and Duane, and defended the King Richard star as she called out Tasha for making false statements about the father-of-three.

“I don’t like what people be doing to Will Smith. I be feeling like Will Smith is very unproblematic, and I feel like he [has] a nice heart. And that’s the thing, I found out that Will Smith is a Libra… Libras, we be getting tried, we be getting tried, and then when we outburst, we outburst so f**king heavy that we become the ones in the wrong,” Cardi stated.

“We go so crazy, people be like, ‘Oh my God! What the f**k? Oh, this b**ch is really crazy. Oh, this n**ga is f**king crazy, for real.’ I feel like y’all doing that to Will Smith,” she added.

She also hit out at the lack of verification from Tasha before going public with the ex-employee’s claims against Will. Cardi has a long history with the gossip blogger, and back in 2021, was awarded $4 million in damages after Tasha made false statements about the rapper on her YouTube channel.

In one video, she claimed Cardi had performed sex acts on stage “with beer bottles”, alleged that the rapper had contracted herpes, was a prostitute, had cheated on her husband Offset, and had taken Class A drugs. After losing the lawsuit and being ordered to pay up, Tasha filed for bankruptcy.

Referring to Tasha K as she defended Will, Cardi said: “I don’t like how I was fooled a couple weeks ago. Some people just never change.”

On Wednesday, Jada slammed the accusations about Will’s sexuality, and denied he had sex with Duane. Talking on The Breakfast Club, the Girls Trip star said: “Let me just say this. It’s ridiculous, right? And it’s nonsense. We’re gonna take legal action because it’s one thing to have your opinion about somebody versus just making up salacious, malicious stories.”
