Tyla bags her first Grammy nomination

Tyla Laura Seethal scores her first Grammy nomination. The singer is nominated for Best African Music Performance, alongside four other music artists. Tyla’s 2023 hit song, Water bagged her the prestigious nomination.

The star alongside Musa Keys is the only South African singer nominated in the aforementioned category as the other musicians nominated are Nigerians.

Asake and Olamide scored a nod with the song Amapiano, Burna Boy with City Boys, Davido and Musa Keys with Unavailable, and Ayra Star with Rush.
