After six months of dating, Bam Margera and their girlfriend Dannii Marie are engaged! The embattled reality star and former Jackass cast member confirmed the relationship news in a statement to Us Weekly on Wednesday.
“We’re just a really good team,” Margera, 44, told the outlet. “I never had structure before. I always woke up not knowing what to do with the day.”
“I would just look across the street, see an Irish pub, and be like, ‘That looks like fun,'” he added, telling the outlet that he popped the question back in October. “Now I wake up, I walk the dogs, I stretch, I go to the gym, I go skateboarding. Everything’s a structured fun schedule.”
“She’s everything I’ve ever asked for,” he added. “I couldn’t ask for anything more. We are a perfect team.”
Margera and Marie were romantically linked back in July — just a few months after he was taken into police custody in April following an arrest warrant being issued due an alleged domestic dispute.
In documents obtained by ET at the time, the former Jackass star was facing misdemeanor charges after Pennsylvania police responded to a call by his brother. Upon arriving at the residence, the police spoke with his brother, Jesse Margera, and father, Phil Margera Jr., who informed the officers that the reality star fled into the nearby woods following the incident.
This incident came on the heels of his estranged wife, Nicole Boyd, filing for legal separation in February. In November, she was reportedly granted sole custody of their son, Phoenix, who turns 6 on Dec. 23.
