Lynn Forbes opens about Aka’s death

Lynn  Forbes, mom of slain rapper AKA reveals that she’s kept her son’s bloodied shoes from the accident. Lynn Forbes reveals on season three of DJ Zinhle: The Unexpected reality TV show on BET Africa that she’s still holding on to AKA’s shoes from the night of the shooting. Forbes adds in the video that was shared by Jabu_Macdonald on X that she literally opens his box every day and touches his shoes.

“I don’t wanna get rid of it. I have to decide in my mind, where do I want this to go? What do I do with these shoes? These are the shoes he was wearing. They have his blood on it. It’s so hard to do this thing. I have to go through his stuff and get rid of things,” she says.

The rapper was shot dead outside the Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban in February. He had been booked for a performance in the city on the night he met his death.@nguvi_: “My heart goes out to Glammy, I cannot imagine the pain that this ordeal has brought her.
