Musa Keys disappoints fans

Popular Mzansi record producer, Musa Keys fans were left disappointed after he cancelled his most anticipated event called Detty December.

The show, which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 27 December at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo was postponed.

Musa Keys, whose real name is Musa Appreciate Makamu, has been talking about the event for months and his fans have been looking forward to it.

In a statement released by his team recently, it was said that the cancellation was due to unforeseen technical and production issues.

“We are unfortunately unable to host the event as originally planned and sincerely apologize to all ticket holders and supporters.

“As a team, we have explored various options to see how we can best deliver the event, but all options didn’t allow us to provide the world-class experience we wanted to share with you,” the statement reads.

They said they thought it best to re-evaluate the event or their plans to address any concerns and ensure they come back stronger.

“We’re currently communicating with Computicket regarding this postponement. Full refunds will be made available in due course in accordance with Computicket’s refund policy,” it said.

Musa Keys has also released a video apologizing to his fans and supporters.

“I know this is not the best time or the best news to hear. I’m not doing so well with it, but I always want to do my best in everything I do, so I try to make sure everything I do is at the best level.

“Thank you so much for the support. It means so much to me and I appreciate every single person who has taken the time to buy tickets, buy tickets to give away, be part of the team and the artists, people who have taken the time,” he said.

Many fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment regarding the cancellation of the show.
