Actor Mduduzi Mabaso Signs on for e.tv’s House Of Zwide

Mduduzi Mabaso previously known for his role as Suffocate on E. tv’s Rhythm City has embarked on a new venture. He has joined the cast of House Of Zwide, another e.tv production. Reports suggest that Vusi Kunene might be departing the show, though this has not been officially confirmed.

Earlier this year, Mabaso played Prince Andile on BET Africa’s Queendom. Unfortunately, the series faced financial issues, reportedly leading to nonpayment of cast and crew by Clive Morris Productions, resulting in its abrupt halt after two months.

Regarding these developments, e.tv’s executive producer Tebogo Nkwana indicated in an email to TshisaLIVE that a press release addressing these matters would be forthcoming, to be shared with media, including TshisaLIVE, by the end of business on Friday, July 19th.

A social media post has been circulating, announcing Mabaso’s new role: “Suffocate joins House Of Zwide. Former Rhythm City actor Mduduzi Mabaso has joined House Of Zwide following actor Vusi Kunene’s rumored departure.”
