Cristiano Ronaldo drops marriage hint, calling Georgina rodriguez my wife

Cristiano Ronaldo may have quietly tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez. In a recent video for the fitness brand Whoop, Ronaldo, 39, referred to Rodriguez, 30, as his “wife,” fueling speculation about their marital status. In the video, shared on Instagram, Ronaldo gives a tour of his home gym and mentions working with his wife: “When I’m not training in the club, I like to work with my wife at home. I can push her and she can push me too.” This reference to Rodriguez as his wife marks the latest in a series of rumors about their relationship status.

The couple has been the subject of marriage speculation before. In 2018, Rodriguez was spotted wearing a large diamond ring at the World Cup, sparking engagement rumors. Ronaldo’s publicist responded to inquiries on Tuesday, saying, “At this time, I cannot confirm nor deny that Cristiano has married Georgina. I simply do not know.” This response echoes a similar statement from 2018 regarding their engagement status.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together since 2017 and share six children. Rodriguez, the biological mother of three—daughters Alana Martina, 6, and Bella, 2, and Bella’s twin who died—considers Ronaldo’s other three children her own.

The couple first met in Madrid in 2016 when Rodriguez worked as a sales associate at Gucci. In a recent Instagram post for Portuguese Mother’s Day, Ronaldo referred to Rodriguez as his “wife,” further hinting at their possible marital status.
