Rapper MusiholiQ’s house destroyed by fire

Rapper MusiholiQ, real name Ncazelo Mtolo, suffered a devastating fire at his home in Umlazi, Durban, reducing it to ashes. MusiholiQ, known for his song “Zimbeqolo” featuring Big Zulu, suspects the fire originated from plugs near the bed where phones were charging. It began by igniting blankets and quickly spread throughout the house.

“There was no one inside the house to notice the fire until it had already spread to other rooms. My sister was in an outer room with her three-month-old daughter,” MusiholiQ explained.

“My mother is distraught. We’ve lost everything—my child’s school uniform, personal documents like IDs and cards, and food. “We are in desperate need of assistance. Community members have brought food parcels to support us during this difficult time. Currently, we are trying to gather ourselves and assess what we can salvage from this tragic situation. It’s heart-wrenching.”

In a similar incident, Skeem Saam actress Innocent Sadiki’s R3 million house was recently destroyed by fire. Innocent’s twin sister, Millicent Mashile, disclosed that the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fortunately, Innocent’s husband, nanny, and children escaped unharmed despite the fire spreading rapidly.

“They are conducting investigations. They live in a thatched-roof house which is susceptible to fires. There was no explosion or fireplace involved,” Millicent shared.

“No one was injured. The children were inside with their father and nanny, who were alerted by the smoke. By the time we arrived, everything was lost.” MusiholiQ has provided bank details for those who wish to support his family during this challenging time:
