Nash Furnishers owner Tinashe Mutarisi faces backlash over undelivered fridge

Tinashe Mutarisi, the owner of Nash Furnishers, is facing significant criticism following allegations by a dissatisfied customer, Lyvette Elizabeth Ngirazi. Ngirazi has publicly accused the company of failing to deliver a fridge she purchased and has highlighted her frustrations with the company’s response to her complaints.

Ngirazi took to Facebook to express her grievances, tagging Mutarisi and sharing a series of screenshots as evidence. In her post, she detailed her experience with Nash Furnishers, revealing that she had purchased a fridge on Laybye for US$531 during a promotion. Despite completing the payment two months ago, she claims that the fridge has not been delivered.

“Dear Tinashe Mutarisi, Nash Vamutarisi ndipindureiwo ku inbox kwenyu,” Ngirazi wrote, expressing her frustration. “Fridge yangu yandakapedza kubhadhara now two months musati ma delivhara … now moti kuti mundidzosere mari yangu munobata 15% admin fee. Ko why coz the fault is on your side … sure munotengeserei chinhu chaiswa pa layby nemumwe and when I finish paying you don’t deliver 😭😭😭.”

She further explained that she was informed that the fridge she had initially selected had been sold, but she was assured that another fridge would be provided once she completed her payment. Even after fulfilling her financial commitment, Ngirazi reported that she had not received the replacement fridge, and her numerous attempts to resolve the issue were met with excuses.

Frustrated by the ongoing delays, Ngirazi requested a refund, only to be told that Nash Furnishers would retain 15% of the total amount as an administrative fee. She criticized the company for this charge, questioning why she should incur a fee for a product that was never delivered.

The situation has garnered widespread attention on social media, with many users criticizing Mutarisi and Nash Furnishers for their handling of the issue. Social media commentators have questioned the fairness of retaining a fee when the company failed to provide the purchased item, and they have expressed support for Ngirazi’s plight.

As the controversy continues to unfold, Tinashe Mutarisi and Nash Furnishers face growing pressure to address the complaint and resolve the matter with Ngirazi. The public’s reaction underscores the need for businesses to handle customer complaints and service issues with transparency and accountability.
