A sadza (sitshwala) argument ended disastrously in Kadoma yesterday after Milton Gido Siziba (38) was bashed to death by a colleague.
The suspect Farai Hlongwani Mlilo (27) is on the run after he struck the now-deceased Siziba twice on the head with firewood.
Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the incident on their Twitter handle.
“Police in Kadoma are investigating a case of murder which occured on 23/11/22 at Machokoto Compound, Hazel Mere Farm, Patchway. The suspect Farai Hlongwani Mlilo (27) hit the victim twice on the head after an argument over sadza,” reads the Tweet.
“The victim died on admission at a local hospital. The suspect is on the run. Anyone with information to contact nearest Police Station.
