Sonia Mbele is currently unmarried and although the multi-talented personality recently revealed that she has been in a long-distance relationship with a New York-based man since 2019, the man in her life remains mysterious and unnamed.
And while Sonia Mbele’s current man remains unknown, a few years ago however, Sonia Mbele was a married woman. Her ex-husband is a prominent South African lawyer and businessman called Leslie Sedibe.
The former couple got married in 2006 after dating for a few years. Their wedding was a grand affair that was attended by hundreds of guests and for the next few years the two seemed like a happy perfect couple but apparently there was more than met the eye.
In 2014, Sonia Mbele and Lesile Sedibe called quits on their marriage and got divorced in what Sonia Mbele later described as a very difficult time in her life.
“I suffered from panic attacks and anxiety breakdowns. I stressed about how to transition from the life I lived to a new one, where I was now alone. I was scared,” she revealed during an interview.

Following the heavily publicized abuse allegations against her son, Sonia Mbele issued a statement condemning the actions of her son and promising that Donell would be held accountable for his actions.
