Two violent bouncers who caused chaos at various joints in Harare on Boxing Day have been arrested and are expected to appear in court this Friday facing charges of attempted murder.
The two, identified as Gideon Sanyangore and Blessing Kumunda, are accused of causing chaos at various music concerts in Harare on the 26th of this month.
In a video clip which went viral on social media one of them is seen brandishing a knife and allegedly attacking another bouncer.
In a separate video, the other bouncer was seen splashing beer on a patron before slapping him.
Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrests.
“We can confirm that Gideon Sanyangore and Blessing Kumunda were arrested and the two are now being accused of attempted murder. The suspects allegedly caused chaos at Pabloz Nightclub in Harare and at various music events on the 26th of this month. So, we want to warn the would-be offenders to desist from such behaviour,” he said.
Sanyangore and Kumunda are expected to appear in court this Friday.
