An audio note from a group of bouncers and promoters has made rounds on social media. Bouncers are saying the rogue bouncer Gideon Sanyangore is not feeling well in prison.
In the voice note, a man pleads with promoters to forgive the bouncers and says “Gideon haachatogona kufamba”
The two violent bouncers were arrested after causing chaos at various joints in Harare on Boxing Day. They were expected to appear in court facing charges of attempted murder.
The two, identified as Gideon Sanyangore and Blessing Kumunda, are accused of causing chaos at various music concerts in Harare on the 26th of this month.
In a video clip which went viral on social media one of them is seen brandishing a knife and allegedly attacking another bouncer. In a separate video, the other bouncer was seen splashing beer on a patron before slapping him.
Since the arrest the two have been in remand at Chikurubi prison.
