South African rapper, Mthembeni Ndevu, better known by his stage name Emtee shows off the beautiful bond between him and his father.
He was born in Matatiele and grew up in Rockville, Soweto, where he was involved in talent shows. His career began at the age of 17, and his debut hit single, “Roll Up” was released in 2015.
He was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment, and released his debut album Avery (2015), which was commercially successful and was eventually certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).
The album was preceded by two singles: “Roll Up” and “Pearl Thusi”.
His second studio album Manando (2017), the title referring to his late brother. His third album DIY 2 was released in 2018. He established his own record label eMtee Records in partnership with African Trap Movement and released third studio album Logan (2021), which debuted at number 1 in South Africa.
The rapper says he enjoys much love from his dad; hence he exudes father love to his children.
The Pearl Thusi hitmaker shared photos of himself being curled up on the shoulder of his dad and captioned it with:
“People always ask me why do you love your boys so much. Got it from my OG pops. Gambu.”
