Bonang Matheba warns Eskom about load shedding ahead of Miss SA

Well-known South African media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba, the host of Miss South Africa has warned Eskom and load shedding not to interrupt the pageant finale on Sunday, 13 August.

The TV and radio personality has returned to MC the show after a four-year hiatus.

In a tweet, Mzansi’s media darling Bonang warned the national power utility provider to not disrupt the viewing or production of the Miss SA pageant.

Tagging Eskom, she jokingly tweeted: “Please, hey, it’s Miss South Africa tomorrow”.

Bonang will return to the pageant stage after last hosting te event in 2019. In the years that followed, Nomzamo Mbatha, Anele Mdoda, and Nico Panagio all had a stint at MC’ing the glamorous event.

The Miss SA finale will take place on Sunday, 13 August, at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria. Media mogul Bonang Matheba will host the event, which will be judged by high-profile women like Leandie du Randt, Thuso Mbedu, Devi Sankaree Govender, and Jo-Ann Strauss. Reigning Miss Universe, R’Bonney Nola Gabriel will also be a judge.
