Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari has reportedly threatened to reveal “extraordinarily embarrassing” information about the pop princess if they don’t renegotiate their prenup, it has been reported.
According to Page Six, a source revealed that the Iranian-American model is “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid”. The couple have allegedly split ways after an “nuclear” argument.
Britney is currently believed to be worth about $70m, but a lot of the cash has been spent on legal fees and child support for her two children, 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden. Representatives from both Britney and Sam have not yet returned The Mirror’s request for a comment.
After 29-year-old Sam proposed to Britney in September of 2021, it was confirmed that Britney’s father and former conservator did not impede on the terms within the couple’s prenup agreement. Britney’s lawyer Mathew Rosengart, who helped the Toxic singer out of her 13-year long conservatorship in November of 2021, was also involved in creating the terms of Britney’s martial prenup.
A source at the time told the news outlet that: “Any money she made before the wedding is protected.”
The news of Sam allegedly trying to renegotiate the terms of their decided prenup agreement comes after reports of Britney and Sam calling it quits after one year of marriage.
