Chloe Bailey is getting candid about her celebrity crush. The “Have Mercy” singer, 25, made the revelation on the latest episode of Apple Music radio show The Dotty Show that a certain Black Panther actor was at the top of her list.
“I’ll say it. Michael B. Jordan is my celebrity crush,” Bailey admitted on the show. “I’ve been said that in interviews, even like, years ago.”
“But have you told him?,” British host and rapper Amplify Dot — who was born Ashley Dorothy Charles and also goes by A.Dot and Dotty — asked her, to which she replied, “No.”
When asked why, Bailey explained, “I don’t shoot my shot.”
Amplify Dot told the songstress that she should “DM” Jordan now or else she could be “blocking” her “blessings.”
“I’m big on blessings, but I’m like God will bring my blessings to me when they’re supposed to be here,” Bailey said, adding that when blessings are “forced,” other blessings could be “blocked.”
“What is it about Michael B. Jordan?,” the host then asked as the Swarm actress appeared to turn her head down from the mic and giggle.
“Wow look at you blushing like he’s in the room,” Amplify Dot added as Bailey continued to laugh. “That’s crazy, just from thinking about him. That’s Crazy.”
The Praise This actress’s revelation comes after she told Cosmopolitan earlier this year that she is trying to “work on herself” and find love for herself before offering it to anyone else.
“Sadly, I have not been seeing anybody for almost a year now,” Bailey told the outlet. “Your girl has just been working on herself, and I wish I was lying. I tell myself, ‘God, I know what you’re doing. You’re sifting out the BS, so I can find good lovin’.'”
She continued, “When you don’t know your worth and when you haven’t mastered the art of loving yourself, you question why others would love you.”
The singer added that she thinks she is currently single so she can “grasp that concept a little more” because she can’t expect someone to love her “wholeheartedly” when she’s “not there yet” within herself.
The “Pray It Away” musician also opened up about how she takes on romantic relationships and described herself as “a mush ball.”
“I love cuddles. I love showing my passion through our physical beings,” Bailey said. “I’m such a physical touch and words of affirmation type of girl, and I want someone to be just as madly in love with me as I am with them.”
She added, “I’m one thousand percent a hopeful romantic.”
