It’s okay to cry: Kairo Forbes cries on stage after singing AKA’s song

AKA’s daughter, Kairo Forbes, cried on stage after singing his father’s hit song. Indeed, Kairo had been a strong girl, and she had been suppressing her feelings over the months. Many fans praised her for being a strong kid, but it seemed feelings had pilled into her heart. In the past few days, she had rehearsed her father’s songs with Nadia Nakai, building her emotions.

The emotions got the best of her when she sang the songs on the stage. She finished singing, went to her mother, DJ Zinhle, and cried, saying she missed AKA.

Indeed, many fans were left sorry for her as they consoled her with kind words. We miss him too, Kiarhis passing is personal to all of us  sending love. DJ Zinhle shared the pictures on her Instagram, explaining how Kairo had suppressed her feelings.

“After bravely performing her dad’s song in front of thousands of people, my 8-year-old broke crying saying she just misses her daddy & wishes he was here. Actually, Kairo tries a lot of suppress her feelings and this is one of the few times I’ve seen her cry like that…” she said.
This is happening while @thando_thabethe is announcing me for my performance. @nadianakai is so brave, she took over as I walked into the stage crying & heart broken..” she continued.

“Halfway into my first song, @kairo.forbes was standing next me – check the last slide. You can see that she literally wiped her tears and stool bravely next to me,” she said. I am so proud of her but I wish she didn’t need to be so brave. I just wish she still had her dad.” she finished.
