Prince Harry has been warned to “look out” as it has been suggested that Meghan Markle’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson could write a ‘tell-all book’ about their marriage.
Meghan, 42, was married to film producer Trevor, 46, from 2011 until 2013. The former couple – who are said to have separated a year prior to their divorce – were also in a relationship for a number of years before getting married in Jamaica.
It’s been suggested that Trevor – who, like Meghan, remarried years after their split – could decide to write a memoir about their relationship. It has been claimed that he’s been offered “big money” for a book previously.
Royal author Neil Sean told New! magazine that many agents have offered “big deals and big money” to Trevor in the past. He went on to suggest Meghan could be “petrified” by the possibility of him writing about their past relationship.
The author told the outlet that it would be a “remarkable story” as Trevor has “first-hand experience” of being married to the actress turned Duchess. He teased that a memoir could be the “inside track” on what Meghan was like before she became a royal.
Speculating about the possibility of telling his story, Neil teased that a potential book by Trevor could be “explosive”. The author said that Meghan isn’t known for having kept connections from her past, with him adding that Trevor’s story is a “huge mystery”.
Neil said Meghan’s relatives like her father Thomas Markle, 79, and her sister Samantha Markle, 58, had “no choice but to speak out” about her previously. He warned that her ex-husband Trevor could do the same at some point.
