North West, the oldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, revealed she has dyslexia. “Guys, I have dyslexia,” the 10-year-old said to viewers during a live TikTok video with her mom on Wednesday. “Do you even know what that is?”
Kardashian then interjected before North could say anything more. “North, you are surely spilling the tea on here,” the Skims founder said.
Dyslexia is a learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words, per the Mayo Clinic.
While neither Kardashian nor North elaborated further about her revelation, the mom of four said she “purposely” doesn’t talk about stuff the pre-teen is going through.
Page Six reached out to Kim’s team for a comment on the video reveal, but we didn’t receive an immediate response.
Kanye, 46, and Kardashian, 42, welcomed North in June 2013. They also became parents to son Saint in 2015, daughter Chicago in 2018, and son Psalm in 2019.
Since the “Flashing Lights” rapper and the “Kardashians” star finalized their contentious divorce in November 2022, North has been enjoying life with her mom.
In July, the mother-daughter duo enjoyed several watersports while vacationing in Idaho. Page Six exclusively obtained photos of the reality star and her two daughters tubing on Lake Couer d’Alene.
The following month, Kardashian and North traveled to Tokyo, where the mom of four could be seen jumping rope with her daughter’s floor-length braids.
North also got the chance to take in Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour with her mom, grandma Kris Jenner, aunt Khloé Kardashian, and cousin Penelope Disick.
The famous family followed the “Cuff It” singer’s silver dress code request for the sold-out show in Los Angeles on Sept. 4.
Since Kim has seemingly had the majority custody of her kids since her divorce from Kanye, she recently revealed that she has had to hire a “manny” — or male nanny — to help her with the kids in her “female-dominated” household.
The Skin founder said she was initially “scared out of [her] mind” to tell the Grammy winner about the new employee, however, West has been cordial to him.
“When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself, played two-on-two with Saint and has been so nice to [the manny],” she shared on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians.”
