Late Ginimbi’s empire crumbles

Properties belonging to a night club of the late businessman Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure is set to be auctioned. Posh Harare nightspot, Club Sankayi, which was shut down in February 2019 and reopened under the name Dreams by the late Ginimbi will officially close as the directors are now auctioning items from the bar.

Some of the items include shisha pots ,sound motion sensors , big ice buckets , door cardboard ,straight ceiling among others. The directors have also enclosed terms and conditions of sale in the letter below:

Ginimbi died on November 8 2020 in an accident that also claimed four of his friends among them video vixen Michelle ‘Moana’ Amuli. His car collided with another vehicle along the Borrowdale road, en route to his Domboshava mansion from his Dreams Nightlife club.

Since his death, Ginimbi’s vast properties appear to have gone into the grave with him. His investments in energy, top-of-the-range vehicles and Dreams Nightlife – which used to attract affluent customers – have reportedly collapsed.

Ginimbi reportedly left his estate in the hands of his family.

In other news – Three children burnt to death

A Chimanimani family has been plunged into mourning after losing three children below the age of five in a tragic fire incident this Monday. The tragic incident befell the Gonouya family of Chikona Village in Chimanimani District after the children were left alone by their grandmother who had gone to a nearby garden.

“We are mourning the death of my three granddaughters who were burnt to death. Their grandmother had gone to the garden as usual when the three started experimenting with matchsticks which eventually led to the fire. They were trapped inside a hut-thatched bathroom,” said the grandfather, Mr Luckmore Gonouya. Read More
