Robbers reportedly pounced on the room and got away with the gold-bearing carbon. He is said to have called an unnamed senior security officer. Whatever was discussed, he decided to end his life.
His body was taken to Kadoma General Hospital where it awaits a postmortem before burial in Sanyati.
A reliable source said the family of the deceased wanted to collect the blood and soil at the place of occurrence for ‘cleansing rituals’ but were denied by the mine’s security.
He is survived by a wife and seven kids. Mourners are gathered at 16 Chapita Street, Rimuka Kadoma.
