Body of a baby found dumped in Epworth

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in Epworth are investigating a case of infant abandonment after the body of a baby was discovered at a local landmark.

According to police, the body of a male infant, estimated to be around 6 months old, was found at the Balancing Rocks site in the Epworth Extension area of Harare on June 24th, 2024.

The heartbreaking discovery has prompted a full investigation by the ZRP as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“Police in Epworth are investigating a case of baby dumping which occurred on 24/06/24 in which the body of a male infant (approximately 6 months) was found at Balancing Rocks, Epworth Extension, Harare.

“Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station,” reads the statement.
