Body of deceased man found floating in Mazowe dam missing private parts

A fisherman from Mazowe, Jaison Mukurunyova, reportedly found an unidentified male body floating in Mazowe Dam, the corpse notably missing its private parts.

According to reports, Mukurunyova made the discovery on Monday and promptly notified the police, who responded by retrieving the body. Confirming the incident, Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe stated that Mukurunyova came across the body while casting his nets on July 1.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officials found the body secured with a rope and a stone tied around its waist. Upon closer inspection, it was observed that the body had a chest wound, and disturbingly, the private parts had been entirely removed.

The police have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the discovery and the identity of the deceased individual.
