Despite drawing apparent inspiration from Nigerian designs, a few South African fashion designers failed to leave a lasting impression, prompting a flurry of critiques from Nigerians who had higher expectations.

Influencer and DJ Cyan Boujee sported an outfit inspired by Nigerian fashion, but unfortunately, her designer’s execution fell short of expectations, leading to ridicule from social media users in both Mzansi and Nigeria.
