Three suspected armed robbers, Kenneth Chiputura, Jaison Munyama, and Mike Chitsiko, have appeared in a Harare court facing charges of robbery. Their arrest followed a police shootout that resulted in the death of their accomplice, Raymond Mugabe.
The trio is accused of several robberies in Harare while armed with pistols and iron bars. On May 31, they allegedly broke into a house, assaulted the occupant, and stole US$15,000, firearms, ammunition, jewelry, alcohol, and other goods. They also took a truck, which they later abandoned.
On July 23, the suspects are accused of another robbery where they allegedly stole cash, wine, and a briefcase. They were found in possession of over 1,000 rounds of ammunition. The suspects are scheduled to return to court on August 28 for a routine remand and have been advised to seek bail from the High Court.

Fashion business owner Pfadzani Exodus has accused singer and designer Londie London of stealing clothes. According to Sunday World, the dispute stems from a 2019 agreement in which Londie was to wear Exodus’s brand for free, in exchange for promoting it on social media and at high-profile events.
Exodus claims that Londie visited her boutique in Randburg, Johannesburg, and requested three clothing items to sell to her clients due to a lack of stock. Exodus provided items valued at R17,000, under the assumption that Londie, as an ambassador of the brand, would either promote or pay for them. Read More
