Tino Kadewere, the Zimbabwean forward who currently plays for FC Nantes in France, discussed his recent transfer value, indicating a decrease from his worth at former club Olympique Lyon. While Kadewere did not specify his exact current value, he noted that it has fallen from the US$12.5 million he was valued during his time with Lyon.
Speaking on Dj Ollah’s podcast, Kadewere remarked, “At the moment, after moving to Nantes, yati dzikeyi mbijana (the net worth reduced a little bit) because when I was at Lyon it used to be US$12.5m.”
Kadewere recently joined FC Nantes permanently from Lyon, having initially moved on a free transfer after a successful loan spell. His new contract with Nantes extends until June 2027, following the expiration of his Lyon contract on June 30, 2024.
Transfermarkt.com currently values Kadewere at €2.5 million (approximately US$3 million), a significant decrease from the €14 million valuation he held when he joined Olympique Lyon from Le Havre in 2020.
