Floyd Shivambu has been appointed as the new national organizer for the MK Party, following his recent departure from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). The announcement was made during a media briefing held on Thursday morning, which was attended by former President Jacob Zuma.
Shivambu’s appointment marks a significant development for the MK Party, as he takes on a role crucial to the party’s organizational structure. In his new position, Shivambu will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, including organizing party operations, developing organizational documents and guidelines, and overseeing political education, policy, and research. Additionally, he will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating governance among public representatives and contributing to cadre development.
The media briefing also revealed the new party leadership, which includes a top eight and 22 additional members of the national high command, indicating a strategic reshuffle within the MK Party.
