A ZUPCO bus en route to Kanyemba overturned on Saturday at Dande Bridge in Mbire District. According to reports, the incident occurred when the driver struggled to navigate the bridge, leading to the bus overturning.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the accident. Emergency services and local authorities quickly responded to the scene, ensuring that all passengers were safe and no further complications arose.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but initial reports suggest that difficulties in crossing the bridge might have contributed to the vehicle’s overturning. The bus, operated by the Zimbabwe United Passenger Company (ZUPCO), was carrying passengers at the time of the accident.
Local authorities are assessing the situation and assisting those affected. The bridge has since been cleared, and normal traffic flow is expected to resume shortly.
