For its second year under her stewardship, the pageant will be held on October 5, 2024, at the renowned Sun City resort in North West Province. Bouwer, who is also known for her work with The Mbokodo Awards, Motswako, and African Odyssey, expressed her excitement about returning to Sun City—a venue she considers pivotal in the history of pageantry on the continent. “Thirty years ago, I traveled around the world with the finalists, starting in the Seychelles and culminating here at Sun City. I am honored to return to a place that is central to pageantry in Africa,” Bouwer told TshisaLIVE.
The Miss World South Africa pageant is poised to showcase a remarkable group of finalists, reflecting Bouwer’s commitment to nurturing future leaders through the platform. “We are getting ready for finale week.
