True leadership, in any sphere of life, is both a delicate responsibility and a sacred duty. It is more than simply occupying a position of authority—it is about offering vision, providing comfort, and shouldering the burdens of others with unwavering commitment. Nowhere is this more evident than in the Church, and especially within our beloved Johanne Masowe Chishanu faith. Leadership here is not just a role—it is a divine calling that requires not only spiritual wisdom, but also physical presence and unwavering dedication.
Our leaders must walk alongside the people—praying, comforting, guiding, and offering provision where needed. Week after week, without fail, they lead us in worship, tichinamata Chishanu chega chega pasi peZuva. For this, I wish to extend my deepest gratitude and respect to the shepherds of our faith—men who have sacrificed personal comfort to serve the spiritual needs of others.
LEADERS PAR EXCELLENCE: A TRIBUTE TO SPIRITUAL SERVICE AND SACRIFICE
Yesterday, moved by a sense of joy and gratitude, I made the decision to bless some of these tireless leaders with a gift of appreciation. I committed USD $500,000 towards purchasing vehicles for eleven outstanding men whose service and leadership have not gone unnoticed. These individuals have faithfully upheld the values and teachings of Baba Johanne, demonstrating humility, wisdom, and spiritual maturity in all they do.
First and foremost, I would like to recognize Madzibaba Gibson Nyanhi from Chiweshe (Chinherere Branch) and the late Madzibaba Mathias Mandaza from Domboshava (Nyakudya Branch)—two pillars in our Church’s top five leadership. Their loyalty to the cause of the Church, their steady guidance, and their ability to lead by example have deeply touched many lives. As a token of appreciation, each was awarded a brand-new 2025 Toyota Fortuner 2.8 GD6—white in colour, fully paid for, and ready for collection from Victor at Exquisite Car Dealership.
Although we recently lost Madzibaba Mathias to the Lord’s eternal rest, his legacy lives on. In honour of his memory, I have directed that his first son, Madzibaba Gibos Mandaza, should receive the car in his father’s name. May it remind us all of the eternal impact of faithful service.
I would also like to extend warm congratulations to Madzibaba Boniface Muteze of Domboshava, who will also receive a 2025 Toyota Fortuner 2.8 GD6. His continued support and unwavering commitment to Church growth has been instrumental, and it is only fitting that we acknowledge his efforts.
From Exquisite Car Dealership, the leaders are to proceed to Faramatsi Motors, where Farai will assist in the collection of seven brand new Toyota Hilux single cab pickups. These vehicles are designated for the following devoted leaders:

They are the unsung heroes who spend hours in prayer, counsel, and service behind the scenes. These vehicles are not just gifts—they are symbols of trust, honour, and appreciation.
Lastly, I would like to include one more name among the recipients—my brother, Mr Moore Samson Muzira, from the ZANU PF Midlands News Desk. His efforts, both in media and spiritual support, deserve to be acknowledged. He too will receive a brand-new Toyota Hilux single cab, bringing the total number of gifted vehicles to eleven.
To each of you, Madzibaba, may these vehicles serve not only as practical tools to ease your duties, but also as reminders that your service does not go unnoticed. May your footsteps remain divinely guided, your spirits renewed, and your ministries richly blessed. You have chosen the path of sacrifice—and for that, we honour you.
