Vice-President Kembo Mohadi now stable following the sudden collapse

Zimbabwean Vice-President Kembo Mohadi is now stable after he was airlifted following a sudden collapse at an election rally in Gutu West, Masvingo province, on Saturday.

Mohadi was there to launch Zanu PF’s bye-election campaign to support Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs John Paradza who was the sitting legislator for the constituency and had won the ruling party primary election uncontested ahead of the August polls.

The Gutu West election could not be held on August 23 together with the rest of the general elections following the death of independent candidate Christopher Mutonhori Rwodzi in a road traffic accident in June after nominations had closed.
