Man shot, then run over at Canoga Park gas station

CANOGA PARK — A man was hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday after he was shot and then run over by the suspects at an Arco gas station in Canoga Park.

Los Angeles Police officers were called at 1 a.m. to Vanowen Street and Independence Avenue, where they learned the victim and another person were buying items from the store’s outside window when the suspects drove up to the station and began arguing with the victim, according to a report from Fox 11.

At some point, the suspects shot the victim and then ran him over before driving away in what police say was a white vehicle, possibly a BMW.

According to Fox 11, detectives later found an Alfa Romeo SUV blocks away with bullet holes in the windshield that might belong to the victim or the person with the victim.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital.

There was no suspect description.
