Nigerian preacher Chris Okafor set for a three-day prayer conference in Harare

Various gospel musicians are set to converge at the Harare Gardens for a three-day prayer conference which starts on the 19th of this month.

The event, organized by the Economic Empowerment Group (EEG), will see Nigerian preacher Chris Okafor leading the prayer conference meant to promote peace and harmony during the country’s general elections expected to be held in August.

Briefing the media in Harare this Monday, event organizer Jay Israel revealed that various musicians, including Mathias Mhere, Dorcas Moyo, and Sabastian Magacha are billed to perform.

“From the 19th to the 21st we are going to be hosting a powerful conference where we are expecting Dr Chris Okafor from Nigeria and we are expecting signs and wonders,” said Israel.

“We are inviting everyone in Zimbabwe. We have other foreigners who are already coming. We are going to be having powerful artists Jonah Chivasa, Kuda Mutsvene, Dorcas Moyo, and others,” he went on.

The event is part of a religious tourism drive being spearheaded by the EEG and World Outreach Ministries.
