Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to stop making tell-all Netflix documentaries, publishing memoirs, and sitting down for interviews that bash the Royal Family, as insiders claim they have ‘nothing left to say’.
More than three years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to ditch life in the Royal Family for pastures new in California, the pair will take a step back and remain behind the scenes of any future Netflix production.
The drastic change of direction follows their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, a six-part Netflix docuseries called Harry & Meghan released last year, and the Prince’s tell-all memoir Spare.
These included blistering attacks on members of the Royal Family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales as well as the wider institution.
Now the couple plan to take on roles further away from the glare of the public eye. ‘That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say’, one source told The Sun. The duke and duchess have been mocked on several occasions following their very public revelations.
This included being featured on an episode of South Park where they were relentlessly ridiculed.
It depicted the pair as the Prince and Princess of Canada – a young royal couple who loudly beg for privacy while drawing attention to themselves.
The red-headed prince and his wife, who wears the same dusty pink outfit that Meghan donned for Trooping the Color in 2018, along with a near-identical hat, are seen promoting the prince’s book – Waaagh – the cover of which strongly resembles Harry’s memoir Spare.
They storm off during a TV show after being challenged about their motives, before moving to South Park, with the princess declaring: ‘If we moved here, people would think we’re serious about wanting to be normal.’
Harry’s memoir Spare, released earlier this year, was slammed by some for not being a book based on the ‘so-called objective facts’ it declared to be.
In other news – Kim Kardashian reveals North West is unaware of Kanye West’s rants against the family
Kim Kardashian’s emotional conversation about Kanye West concluded on Thursday’s new episode of The Kardashians. As she spoke with mom Kris Jenner about her ex-husband’s public rants, many of which targeted her famous family, Kardashian invoked a line from her and West’s feud with Taylor Swift.
“I don’t want to be a part of this narrative,” Kardashian explained. (Swift famously asked to be “excluded from this narrative” in 2016 amid her war with the superstars.) Last week, the Skims co-founder said she had an “anxiety attack” over West’s Instagram messages that targeted both her and her mom. The posts appeared to be from September 2022 when he brought up Kardashian’s sex tape, accused her of having an affair with Drake and slammed his former mother-in-law.Learn More
