Gospel musician Tasha Cobbs ready to bless South Africans

It’s time to dust off your Sunday best and get your praise hands ready because multi-award-winning gospel musician Tasha Cobbs Leonard will be sharing her talent with South African fans this September.

With songs that immediately send the listener into praise and worship, Tasha will share some of her catalog’s finest, such as Jehovah Jireh, Despite Me, and Put a Praise on It. Long-time fans and new followers are in for a spirit-filling gospel revival.

Presented by Vertex Events, the first Magic Music Sessions event is set to take place on Thursday, September 21 at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria, while Cape Town is second in line and will worship on Friday, September 22 at GrandWest.

Award-winning gospel legend Reverend Benjamin Dube and the talented award-winning Dr. Tumi will share their anointed voices as opening acts on the Pretoria leg.

Singer Hle and much-loved Crown Gospel Music Awards winner Jumbo will grace the stage as supporting acts on the Cape Town leg.

Presenter, radio personality, actress, and writer Thami Ngubeni will MC the shows, a perfect fit and addition to uplift and motivate any crowd.

Says Vertex Events’ executive director, Thato Segaole: “Tasha Cobbs is a powerhouse and we are excited to bring her into the country for two, much-anticipated Magic Music Sessions events that will be safe spaces for worshippers and Gospel lovers to experience her live band at the highest level.”

Tickets are now available for purchase from R450 — R1,750. Gates open at 6 pm on show days.
