Britney Spears blames Justin Timberlake for strained reputation

Britney Spears recently slammed Justin Timberlake for the way he handled their break up in 2002. According to Daily Mail, the 44-year-old pop singer talked about her three–year-long relationship which ended in 2002 after she cheated on Justin with choreographer Wade Robson.

Following their split, the former NSYNC star released the track Cry Me a River in which he wanders around sadly in the rain while portraying Britney as a cheat. The Toxic crooner recalled that back then, everyone saw her as a “harlot” while viewed Justin as “America’s golden boy.”

Owing up to her infidelity, Britney claimed that the Friends With Benefits star also cheated on her several times, but following his breakup song’s success, the audience “shamed her” and felt sorry for Justin instead.

Moreover, the pop princess said she could never talk about this before because Justin already “convinced the world of his version.” On the other hand, a source privy to Entertainment Tonight reported that Justin is currently focusing on his own family and trying not to worry about Britney’s memoir.
