Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness unfollow each other on Instagram

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness took their divorce to a new level with a classic Instagram unfollow. The pair ended their 27 year marriage in September and, months later, neither is following each other on Instagram. Deborra-Lee even set her profile to private, effectively blocking Hugh from seeing what she’s up to unless she allows him back into her following.

Since their break up, Hugh has been making upbeat posts on his profile, sharing his life on social media. Between snaps of the actor strolling through New York City and drinks with friends, Hugh appears to be soaking up the single life.

Previously, a source claimed the split was “gut-wrenching” for the pair because their lives became so “interwoven.” As for the logistical side, the source told Us Weekly that the process of dividing their $290million in assets was “tricky.” They said: “The [divorce] filing will be formalised in due course, but before that happens, their aim is to come to an agreement. They’re determined to [do this] as amicably as possible.”

Fans are very supportive of Hugh as he continues to go through this split. However, they’ve also been speculating that he may be entering a new relationship. In the recent flicks he’s posted, they appear to be taken by someone else and fans are wondering if they’re snapped by a new lover. “Who always takes the cool photos of you,” asked one fan.

As speculation drummed up, some fans were concerned that Hugh was upset with their inquiries. When he limited comments on his posts, a fan asked: “Could it be that our Hugh Jackman got upset with the speculations made in his photos and disappeared?”

His regularly scheduled posting didn’t stop, though, and he persevered through the fans’ rumours. A source did tell New Idea magazine: “Finding love again is one of his biggest priorities.”

Following his divorce, Hugh has also been seen spending time with dear friends. In fact, he’s been quite close with Taylor Swift who took him to watch the Chiefs vs Jets game in a box at MetLife Stadium. Not long after, Taylor, Hugh, and Ryan Reynolds were spotted at Bradley Cooper’s apartment.

A Los Angeles judge ruled on Nov. 20 that the rapper (real name Rakim Mayers) must stand trial on charges that he fired shots at a friend during a 2021 incident in Hollywood, according to NBC News. Rocky—who shares kids RZA, 19 months, and Riot, 2 months, with Rihanna—has pled not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
