A Harare woman’s relationship with a married man has landed in court after they allegedly had an altercation leading to her naked pictures leaking on social media. Magaret Manyenyeni told Harare magistrate Tamara Chibindi that her relationship with Nhamo Nkomo hit rock bottom after his wife found out about the affair leading to their separation.
She told the court that ending the relationship with Nkomo had, however, brought her more problems because he resisted the breakup. Manyenyeni, who accused Nkomo of leaking nude pictures of her on social media, is seeking protection from Nkomo’s abuse and manipulation as she fears that her two teenage children will see her naked pictures online.
However, Nkomo said Manyenyeni had invited the trouble on herself. He accused her of calling his wife to insult her and hiring thugs to assault him. Nkomo asked the court to order Manyenyeni to stop calling his wife.
Magistrate Chibindi ruled in favor of Manyenyeni and ordered Nkomo to stop abusing his ex-girlfriend and maintain peace between the two.
