Zimbabwean gospel artists Everton Mlalazi and Dorcas Moyo have emerged victorious at the 8th CLIMA Africa Awards, held over the weekend in Abuja, Nigeria. Their impressive wins have not only elevated their profiles but also highlighted the vibrant talent emerging from Zimbabwe.
Everton Mlalazi, the lead vocalist of “The Worship Therapy,” made waves in the international gospel scene by taking home three prestigious awards. He was honored with the Africa Best Male Gospel Artiste Award, and the Africa Gospel Music Viewers’ Choice Award, and his manager, Pretty Mlalazi, won the Best Manager Award. This recognition places Mlalazi among gospel music giants, as he competed against notable names such as Ebuka Songs, Dunsin Oyekan, Frank Edwards, and Israel Mbonyi.

Former Member of Parliament and military officer Dexter Nduna has publicly apologized after it was revealed that he falsely claimed to have graduated from the University of Zimbabwe’s law program.
