Leaked Audio Allegedly Reveals Apostle Chiwenga in Private Conversation With New Lover

A leaked audio recording has thrown the Jesus Revelation Ministries (JRM) into turmoil, revealing a deeply personal and controversial exchange between the church’s founder, Apostle Talent Farai Chiwenga, and a woman identified only as Tsitsi. The undated conversation, since verified by JRM officials, points to a once-secret relationship that now threatens the preacher’s reputation and leadership.

In the audio clip, Apostle Chiwenga confronts Tsitsi over alleged statements she made about their relationship. He accuses her of damaging her own future by speaking out, warning that her actions could scare off potential suitors and destroy her public image.

“It’s not bad for me. It is bad for you. It will ruin your future. It will ruin your life,” Chiwenga warns in the audio. “Someone who might want to marry you will hear this and back away. You’ll be seen as someone known for the wrong reasons.”

The exchange grows tense as Chiwenga admonishes Tsitsi for her actions, though she admits, “I made mistakes,” and promises not to repeat them. The conversation ends with the preacher asking if she is alone and indicating he wants to call her via WhatsApp, implying a desire for more privacy.

While the audio stirred speculation, it was a message from Tsitsi herself—directed to Pastor Baloyi, a senior JRM official—that truly ignited the scandal. In a heartfelt and searing voice note, Tsitsi lays bare what she says is a long history of manipulation, betrayal, and emotional abuse at the hands of church leaders.

She begins by reminding Baloyi of previous meetings and confessions, both private and public, in which she was pressured to portray the affair as a spiritual “test.”

“You and I both know that was a cover-up,” she says. “The truth is, I was involved with Apostle Chiwenga. We dated. He made me his wife and slept with me.”

Tsitsi recounts how the aftermath of the relationship led to a deep emotional collapse. She accuses Chiwenga of trying to “dispose” of her by finding another man to marry her, which she says made her feel discarded and used.

“He started looking for another man to marry me. That broke me. It gave me depression,” she says in the message. “Imagine someone doing that to you after making you his wife.”

Leaked Audio Sparks Scandal Around Apostle Chiwenga’s Alleged Relationship and Church Power Struggles

She further alleges that she was subjected to threats, including warnings that Chiwenga had “an intelligence team” monitoring her, and that harm would come to her if she did not cooperate.

“I told you I was trusting you with my life,” she tells Baloyi. “I protected you and I protected him. I regret it now.”

The message also accuses Baloyi of exploiting her younger sister in an effort to monitor and control her. Tsitsi claims that while she was pushed out of the church’s inner circle, her sister was recruited into programs, taken to church meetings, and used as an indirect way to keep tabs on her.

“She became wild. You kept asking her where I was. Why couldn’t you just talk to me directly?”

In a scathing portion of her message, Tsitsi accuses Baloyi and others of launching a smear campaign against her, spreading lies that she had been paid by media or political actors like ZANU PF.

“You told people I was mad. That I was paid. That I was given a house. None of that is true,” she asserts.

Her message concludes with a defiant vow to speak publicly and expose what she calls the “hypocrisy” and abuses of power within the church.

“If anything happens to me, the world will know who to blame. You and your people,” she says. “I’m speaking for the girl child. For the young women in JRM. I don’t want them to suffer the way I did.”

Attempts to reach Apostle Talent Chiwenga for comment were unsuccessful at the time of publication.

The revelations have sent shockwaves through the church’s ranks, prompting urgent internal meetings and an unofficial lockdown on communication among senior leaders. Observers say the fallout could deal a major blow to Chiwenga’s authority, especially among younger congregants who looked up to him as a moral guide.

Critics have pointed to the scandal as another example of power imbalance and abuse in religious institutions across Zimbabwe. “This is about more than one man or one church,” said a Harare-based pastor who asked not to be named. “It’s a wake-up call about accountability in spiritual leadership.”

As the story continues to unfold, members of the JRM and the broader public are watching closely—awaiting responses from church leadership and possible legal action should the allegations be formally pursued.
