Victoria Beckham has praised her husband David Beckham after his football club in Miami won the Leagues Cup, with the smitten couple even cosying up for a photo filled with public displays of affection.
David is a co-owner of the Inter Miami football club, which is an American professional soccer club based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The club, which was established in 2018, won the Leagues Cup on Saturday night, with Lionel Messi scoring a goal during the triumphant game.
Former England player David, who now spends more of his time off-pitch, was embraced by Lionel after the win. And then, the footballing icon was praised by his famous wife who “couldn’t be prouder” of her husband.
Taking to Instagram to share a family snap, Victoria could be seen standing beside the couple’s daughter Harper Seven, while David crouched down on the floor beside their son Cruz. Captioning the joyous snap, Victoria wrote: “Wow! What a night in Nashville!!!!We couldn’t be prouder @davidbeckham we love you so much xxxx CHAMPIONS.”
In the photo Victoria looked effortlessly chic and cool in a pair of light beige trousers. She paired the look with a black vest T-shirt and wore her brunette locks down and framing her face, which was beaming as she smiled with pride.
Meanwhile, Harper wore some blue slouchy jeans with a blue tank top, while her dad David wore a smart suit, and her brother Cruz donned a khaki top and baseball cap. Among the snaps that Victoria shared on Instagram, there was another of Reese Witherspoon posing with David, then one of Nicole Kidman with David, and then a final image of the husband-and-wife duo looking all loved up while posing for the camera.
This comes after Victoria was forced to drag her 12-year-old daughter, Harper, away from a lavish Miami restaurant after a nasty fight broke out. Dining at Gekko, a Miami-based Japanese steakhouse owned by rapper Bad Bunny, the mother-daughter-duo were dining alongside David Beckham, Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo. But things took a turn when they had to dramatically rush out of the venue when a violent altercation left one man bloodied.
