South African singer, Samkelo Lelethu Mdolomba, known professionally as Samthing Soweto announces the death of his pet.
The singer mourned his dog on Instagram and shared an old video where they bonded together.
“RIP Ntsimbi, until we meet again,” he wrote.
Friends and fans sent love to Sam as he goes through the hurt of losing a friend.
Samthing Soweto isn’t the only SA celeb to lose a pet; in 2022, Moshe Ndiki mourned the death of his dog, and hosted an all-white funeral service for the pet.

When it dies, you experience grief, and some people struggle to cope with the loss. In a post, he expressed his heartbreak at Sugar’s untimely passing.
“I’ve been going through the most the past 2 days , trying to put it aside just for me to work and we’ll just work and saying to myself I’ll grieve on Sunday, baby I love you so much @sugarndiki. I love you and hope the other side treats you well , glad to have loved you , known you and been your dad and mom,” he wrote.
He continued:
“So many many memories, you’ve been my 1st born and and what a putty you couldn’t meet your sibling, I’m shattered and I’m asking myself ndiyintoni ngaphandle kwakho Sugar, I love you sana lwam. Funeral and proper arrangements will be made soon.”
