South African media personality and businesswoman, Bonang Matheba hints at delving into politics after President Cyril Ramaphosa passed the amended Electoral Amendment Bill of 2022.
The amendment allows independent candidates to contest National Assembly and provincial legislature elections.
The media personality who is also a businesswoman expressed excitement at the amended bill and some of her followers chanted “Bonang for President.”
“She’s always the first Lady…. Honey I am ready for President Bonang Matheba,” a tweep wrote.
