The 17th edition of the Metro FM Awards has been graced by the who’s who in music and our favorite Mzansi celebrities. The awards ceremony returns this year after a hiatus that feels like a lifetime. Spearheaded by radio royalty Lerato Kganyago and talented presenter Katlego Maboe, the award ceremony saw the best in the game giving us their best looks at the infamous black carpet.
Here are some of the black carpet’s hits and misses and some of our favorite fashion moments. The black carpet was hosted by the effervescent personalities Zanele Potelwa and Alphi Mkhwanazi.
To kick things off we saw the daughter of slain rapper AKA strut the black carpet with her grandparents Lynn Forbes and Tony Forbes.
