Beyonce looks amazing in bubblegum-pink thigh-slit dress

Beyoncé wowed fans in a glamorous pink dress that she designed on her world tour over the weekend, having supported other Black designers to mark Juneteenth. The singer-songwriter, 41, performed at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam on Sunday evening as part of her Renaissance World Tour, which launched last month.

She took to the stage in the Netherlands for her latest show on the tour, in which Beyoncé commemorated the federal holiday Juneteenth early with her fashion choices.

Often considered America’s second Independence Day, it falls annually on June 19 and marks the day in 1865 when it was declared that enslaved people in Texas were free. Beyoncé marked the occasion by wearing outfits created exclusively by Black designers, reportedly including the likes of Maximilian Davis, Feben, and LaQuan Smith.

She wrote in a post on Instagram yesterday: “In honor of Juneteenth, everything I wore for RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR tonight was created exclusively by Black designers.”

The performer subsequently shared photos of her outfits from the show, including a neon pink look from her fashion label Ivy Park that Beyoncé said she had designed herself. She posted photos of herself in the sparkling outfit and showcased parts of her new collection seemingly worn by performers who joined her on stage at the concert on Sunday.

“I started designing this collection over a year ago. I have so engulfed in all things RENAISSANCE and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie, and the disco era,” she wrote.

Beyoncé continued by sharing her inspiration, writing: “I wanted to do a modern twist using the signature IVY PARK neon and bring disco to the beach in this swim collection.

“I’m so happy to share this with you and even more proud to launch it for the first time on the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR. I’m proud to be among the very talented Black designers featured in last night’s show to celebrate Juneteenth.”

She wasn’t the only celebrity to react, with singer Dinah Jane – who was formerly a member of the pop group Fifth Harmony – also responding. She commented: “Obsessed”.

Others compared Beyoncé to Barbie because of the look, with one person writing: “Barbie queen”. Another said: “This Barbie is BEYONCE”. A third simply said: “Barbie”.

They weren’t alone in referencing the iconic fashion doll – who is the focus of a new film – as another fan wrote: “IT’S THE BARBIE GURL”. A fifth said: “It’s giving BARBEY”.

“Pink is always my favorite on you,” commented another follower recently. One person said: “This pink is stunning.” Whilst another wrote: “Queen B wearing pink is everything”.
