Binnelanders actor Bradley Olivier has died. The actor who was popularly known for his role as paramedic Danny Jantjies on the show, died on Thursday after being placed on life support at the Life Flora Hospital.
His family had previously taken to Facebook to assure fans that Bradley had not died after reports were circulating that he had.
Confirming the news of the actor’s death in a statement, his family said he passed away peacefully.
“The family extends their gratitude to the Life Flora Hospital and staff. Your compassionate attention and professional care shown to Bradley, the family, and friends during this time have been invaluable.
“We remember Bradley for his legacy and the impact he left in all our lives. Bradley will always be within our hearts and the many others that loved him. The family is grateful for all the support they have received during this trying time. Bradley touched so many lives, words cannot describe how much we will miss him.
“We ask for privacy as the family grieves the tragic loss of a great father, partner, son, brother, and friend.”
Bradley made his television debut on Villa Rosa in 2017. His family said the star was involved in “an array of different productions, mediums, and genres which included film, series, telenovelas, soap operas, and stage and radio work”.
He starred in multiple productions such as 7de Laan, High Rollers, 4 Play Sex Tips for Girls, Roer Jou Voete, Rockville, Vlug na Egipte, Sokhulu and Partners, Let Heaven Wait, MTV Shuga Down South, Fathers Matter, and Die Kasteel.
