Mzansi musician Murdah Bongz has alway been a vibe. Whenever he gets on stage, he makes sure to leave the crowd absolutely entertained. A clip from a recent performance at this year’s Cotton Fest has however left a few social media users wondering whether or not he is simply doing too much.
As usual, there Twitter users who watched the clip were divided with some defending the star or trolling him and his moves.
Before their split in 2022, Black Motion was one of South Africa’s most eclectic bands. This is because they always gave performances all their energy and made sure their stage presence was felt.
Now that Murdah Bongz has branched out on his own, he has made sure that the performances remain as energetic as ever.
The father of one recently performed at Cotton Fest and as usual, did his thing on stage.
A clip of his performance was shared on Twitter by a user who felt that him standing on top of his deck was just a tiny bit unnecessary.

While some agreed with the above user, others thought he was definitely just hating on Murdah and his moves.
“His set is not complete if he didn’t do this or even a dance nyana if there’s a stage , this is how he performs. He has one of the best sets you’ll ever watch live,” one person wrote while another added:
“They’ve always been extra with their performances though, with most of their performances as black motion. It’s not the first time he’s doing such so y’all defs hating because akaqali”
