Sizwe Dhlomo claims DJ Maphorisa is the greatest music producer in South Africa. The statement was made in reaction to a tweet dedicated to the Amapiano star.
“Give DJ Maphorisa his flowers. This man has serious hits under his belt…. In all genres for that matter. GOAT,” reads the tweet.
The radio personality affirmed the claim and spoke about the DJ’s diversity.
Sizwe said another musician who is almost as good as Phori is Cleopas.
“Easily greatest producer we’ve ever seen in the country based on his diversity. Everybody else specialized… This ninja just does music! Only one close is Cleopas.”
A tweep reacted to Sizwe’s tweet: “People hate on him but they know this is the most versatile fully fledged musician South Africa has produced. Heavy K has the same potential but he sticks to his house variations.”
